The Law Society of England and Wales has been engaged in Ukraine for a number of years and has hosted English Law Days which have been well attended by both Ukrainian and English solicitors. Unfortunately due to the coronavirus pandemic this year, the Law Society had to cancel the planned ‘English Law Day’.
However, ties between the UK and Ukraine continue to grow and law firms in both jurisdictions are keen to develop their links with each other as markets open and trade and investment grows.
The Law Society and partners have arranged for leading experts from the UK and Ukraine to discuss the latest developments in English law and promote legal links and business between practitioners from both countries. This is via a three part webinar series. Quastels Partner and Head of Immigration, Tanya Laidlaw is the Moderator of Part 3 of the the webinar series which deals with Private Client Issues.
